I have a tube of dissolvable Vitamin C tablets and also some Vitamin C tablets which should be swallowed whole.

The dissolvable tablets are 1000mg, to be taken 1 per day, and the ones to be swallowed are 500mg, to be taken 1 per day, according to the packaging.

It says on both that you should not exceed the recommended daily dose. Surely if I take the swallowed tablets, I am only getting half of the recommended dissolvable dose? How can this be right?

It can't can it?

My advice has always been ........throw away the instructions.

1000mgs/day is an average dose.

Thanks Sqad, when I'm taking the "swallowed" tablets, I'll take two per day.
