My Blood Pressure Has Dropped Significantly :-)
29 Answers
For many years now I have suffered from very high blood pressure and have been on Ramipril and Synvastatin to reduce it, When I went to my local GP here in Wales to register he wanted to do a check-up on me and a bit of an MOT, he was surprised to see I was on BP tablets as my BP was normal. I have now completed a 24 hour BP monitoring session and going by those results it looks like I can come off my medication, I'm just waiting until next week for a final decision. Don't ask my BP's as I can never remember things like that, I just know it has gone from dangerously high to normal in 4 months.
The move to Wales seems to be paying off in health benefits already! So now that my meds are completely free I can stop taking them lol.
I aint complaining :-)

I'm wondering if your medication could have been based on erroneous pressure measurement because of a similar effect. Certainly good news however.
