That's done it !! Have to have two teeth out tomorrow at 2pm, one is a wisdom tooth top left and the other is a tooth bottom right close to back. Better have a good dinner in case I can't eat afterwards. I am shaking at the thought of it as I have got worse as I have got older. Really scared, how pathetic is that?

Not pathetic at all! I've had a lot of dental treatment in the treatment in the past year or two, and despite the dentist being really careful and gentle with me I used to get quite worked up before an appointment. Enjoy your supper, and I hope that it all goes painlessly tomorrow.

Thank you islasmum. I just hope I don't make a complete fool of myself.
I had my top left wisdom tooth out on monday, there wasn't even any bleeding, the only pain was from the injections to numb :)
Oooo good luck FPC!

I'm with you, in fact i'd be worse, i'd be a gibbering wreak.

Just keep telling yourself that this time tomorrow it'll all be over.
Further to daffy's answer, my dentist uses a gel that numbs the gum before injections. It definitely takes the edge off the needle.
My dentist said top wisdom teeth were easy to get out and mine took about 10 seconds. Not much longer for a lower back tooth either. Just remember that dentists are used to people being anxious. Does your dentist have a radio on as that might take your mind off it a little? Hope all goes well.

Thank you daffy, BOO and 2sp for your words of encouragement. Don't mind the needle what I cannot stand is anything at back of my mouth, I gag and then panic. As you say, BOO this time tomorrow it will all be over.
Not pathetic at all - you're brave having them both done together, I'd have them done one at a time. However - dental work is so much less painful than it used to be in days gone - by it's still not nice, but it's much more efficient.

Thanks scorpiojo, no, no radio. Dentist says 5 minutes and job will be done. Hope he's right.

Thanks boxtops. It was his suggestion to have both done. Probably right, I will only be worrying the once.
