I posted a question a while back about having an odd feeling in my stomach after eating, almost like hunger pain and now it's getting worse. I am suffering pretty much every day and can't pin point a particular food that could be a trigger. The pain is below my ribs and it almost feels gnawing/burning/hungry all at once and my abdomen is bloated. It's really getting me down now as I am so uncomfortable and scared to eat as it is horrible and can make me feel nauseous. Any ideas anyone? Should I see my GP?

Why would you NOT see your GP?
See your GP, that's what he's there for!

It could be IBS.
Gaul bladder? see your gp

I do have ibs already which used to give me an upset stomach but that stopped while I was pregnant so maybe it's flared up again but in a different way. I wouldn't want to waste my GPs time and it's difficult getting there unless necessary as I have a young baby and due to the system there you can end up waiting for 2hrs
Could be hiatus hernia, no point guessing and worrying, go to GP
You're certainly not wasting your GP's time, climber - that's what they are there for, and you need to keep well for your baby's sake. Ring them now.
You haven't told us if anything relieves the pain and if there is any diarhoea, but, I agree with the others....see your GP.
Have you tried antacids?
Question Author
Nothing seems to relieve the pain, I have to wait for it pass or sleep it off. Bowel movements are normal. Haven't tried antacids as I don't like the taste/texture of them! I could try ranitidine though, will go to GP next week. Thanks all :)
defiinatel sounds like stomach acid-you are having too much of it-you should check it out as it can cause an ulcer
