Medicinal Leeches...

While at my ablutions today I opened the bathroom cabinet for a fresh bar of soap, turned to leave it by the bath, and on turning back saw stars. I'd forgotten to close the cabinet door and now feel there's black eye on the way. Would the use of a medicinal leech avert this and where might I get one?

Ummmm, true enough. But there's nobody in my life cares enough to resort to violence. I sometimes get a dirty look, though.

Leeches deliver a dose of anticoagulant. You need to apply a lump of steak. (If it's frozen, thaw it out first)

If leeches would help it seems not to have come to the attention of whoever designs the NHS website. They prefer frozen peas:

The only thing to prevent bruising is Lasonil. I always had a tube when the children were younger (so people wouldnt notice how much I was knocking them about - only joking).

I'm probably better off without them. I mentioned things bubbling away in the subconscious. I wouldn't want a leech turning into an earworm and tunnelling in to see what was going on in there.
