When I got up this morning, a rash has appeared, doctor hss confirmed it is shingles, so painful and itchy as well.At least I know what it is now, my mother had this three times, I didn, t realise what she was going through.
... completely unrelated to your post - just looking at your name ... there used to be a nightclub round here called the cat's whiskers.
I don't suppose you're from round these parts and you chose your name 'cos you used to go to this nightclub ...... nah, I thought not ??
You have my sympathy with Shingles,it is very painful. I hope you have the anti virol meds that need to be started in the first couple of days to be effective.
Mine started Christmas eve so was several days later before I saw a GP and too late for the meds.
I still take a tablet for the nerve endings 6 years later.
You poor thing,I hope that you feel better very soon - my mother had singles and she said that it was the most painful condition she had ever had - including childbirth!
