I am taking a 5 day course of aciclovir,200mg,5 times a day, last day tomorrow, I have had the pain 2 weeks and the spots for 5 days, am treating these with calamine lotion.The pain is still quite bad, will I need to go back to doctor for more tablets or will pain ease soon.

No.....a 5 day course is just that...a 5day course.

However, you will need tablets for the pain e.g Ibuprofen and monitor the length and severity of the pain, to adjust your medication accordingly.
