But tomorrow I have my PIP assessment. Dreading it as I look and feel fine at the moment. Ruddy marvellous because any other time I'm suffering one way or another.
Also a bit concerned that some of the boxes I have to tick are a bit biased in their favour but we'll see. My vision IS getting worse, and at times it is blurry, doubled, or extremely light sensitive, but it seems they choose between reading or not reading, no in between.
Oh well, wish me luck....it is genuine after all.

I don't know the difference, other than I did a self test on the benefits and work site. On that scored maximum points on one bit (not being able to cook as it would be too dangerous with the tremors and risk of passing out or having an accident) but on others it was a bit iffy or vague. We'll just have to see. Tempted to stay up all night to try and be at my worst.
Well I had my PIP assessment earlier today.
Cannot really say how it went as I haven't a clue. It was done by a "health" professional, but for all I know that could mean failed nurse, wannabe doctor...I don't know but he did know names of drugs etc.
It was actually reminiscent of an ATOS test I did back in 2011, but with fewer silly tests of what I could or could not do. He made it clear it was not a DWP assessment for working but I can't help wonder if the department that deals with working took notes as well.
The main thing I noticed was that he repeated a lot of questions and I think he did this to trick me, seeing if I answered differently.
Oh well, we shall have to se won't we.... I am fairly confident I will get something but I am worried I shall take a drop.
