Can anyone tell me please, is one more prone to "problems" in a thunderstorm when one has a pacemaker? I can't find a definitive answer through Google so wondered if anyone has the answer here. A friend is adamant they mustn't go out or be anywhere near a window in a storm because of having a pacemaker...I just wonder what they would do if a storm suddenly blew up and they were out in it!! Would like to give the answer to said friend if it's different from what they actually believe. Many thanks for any advice.

No big deal.............unless of course one was struck by lightning, then the pacemaker problem would not be significant..;-)
