under my heal area, had it for approx 2 weeks now, does not seem to be going away. I like to walk and have been walking on the treadmill for a few months now, so it cant be that and I do not remember banging it etc, any ideas TIA

A good bet would be our old friend.....plantar fasciitis..........Google it.
