Water

I know they say drinking loads of water helps you to urinate but are there other things to take to help as I find with the water I drink I should be going like Niagara Falls. No pain or anything just a thimble full - my friend will go up to the bath room - sighing (coming down) oh God that was a flood and a half. I would never get that. I have bought Cranberry and Apple juice just an hour ago but haven't tried it. Anything elese out there thanks.

How many more times?
How many more times?
Are you bloating out? puffy legs? puffy fingers? swollen abdomen? puffy face? because if you aren't holding the liquid then whatever you think, you MUST be passing it as urine. have you actually tried peeing into a jug and measuring what you pass? How much are you actually drinking over 24 hours.Measured, not what you estimate.
If it is going in it has to be coming out, unless you are swelling up like a balloon waiting to burst. How much water are you actually drinking
Should be at least 4 pints a day. Water in this context means any drink like fruit juice or soft drinks but not tea or coffee.
Are you actually drinking that amount of water?
There was a person on here a while back who thought 2 small cups of tea a day was enough!
When you do 'pee' is it yellow? It should be almost clear . unless that is the case you are not drinking enough water.

From your previous question, you say you pee 'many times a day' but it is only an 'eggcup' I think you are peeing just as much as you should but in small amounts. It is not daft, you need to measure how much you drink and how much you pee. measure the dink in a pint or half pint glass and pee into a measuring jug, do not just guess it is an 'eggcup full' you may be surprised how much it actually is.

Water in = water out, one way or another.
Other variables to consider:
i) are you in a hot climate?
ii) are you in the gym or exercising outdoors a lot?
Water lost through sweating might account for where most of your 2 litres per day intake is going.
In fact, if the climate is hot but windy, you would get dehydrated by evaporation losses even without doing strenuous exercise. To just walk through a desert zone, it is reckoned a person would need upwards of 4 litres per day and they'd barely need to urinate more than once a day.

^^^ How old do you think water is?
Water has been on Earth for 100s of billions of years, it is the same water now that was around at the time of the dinosaurs 450 million years ago. There is no new water only the same water that has been on Earth for billions of years it just gets recycled over and over again!
