Why does the pressure (I assume) change in my ears depending on say which room I'm in, have noticed more and more how my hearing dulls and the pressure builds in, I think, more "sealed" spaces rather than larger open plan ones. Is it a weird Meniere's thing? My balance has gone a bit loopy again recently though so maybe it's playing up more generally.
It's a bit like when you go into the room they do hearing tests in and it feels really weird in your ears, assume it's some kind of soundproofing?
On a brighter note though, my blood sugar tests came back fine (4.8 and 39) so very happy about that! Got an earlier ENT appointment too to check my grommet out. Tried the Otex but didn't work (very grateful for the suggestion though) so hopefully will get that sorted in a couple of weeks.
I think that the "different room" scenario is just a matter of chance.....coincidence....no direct connection.
In Menier's Disease there is a build up of endolymphatic pressure ( fluid in the inner ear ) cause not really known, but during these periods of fluid pressure build up, one gets that fullness in the ear which is so typical of this disorder. It may or may not correspond to periods of dizziness.
Good news on the "sugar front" ...it is what we expected.
Thanks for that. Usual place being at work but would be weird for it just to start "objecting" to certain rooms haha!
What is it about the hospital hearing tests rooms though, it's such a weird feeling going into one, am assuming it's a general thing rather than the Meniere's?
