Yes. I am hanging in there. Lost weight already and skin beginning to look better.

I've stuck to it so far too. I've got hundreds of wedding this year, so there's a every real danger of a picture of me ending up in someone's house for the next ten years - so I need to look good this year.

The weight loss has been quite impressive so far. I didn't realise how much I was drinking on to my waistline!

I'm cheating and doing 4 off and three on. Wine on Fri, Sat and Sun.
Lost two pounds so far and gained a few £'s.

I am going for 6 weeks rather than just January. I have read that the liver can regenerate itself in that time. Having abused it for so long it deserves a break! Well done too on your weight loss Ed.

So you'll have done a dry month over nine weeks Tilly? :)

I've worked out I need to keep on until august to hit my target weight Grasscarp, so you're not alone :)

Saying that, there will have to be breaks in that for a little drink or two to celebrate.

Correct, or a dry stag dos - which I have several of as well.

All my drinking will be to the bride this year.

My daughter started yesterday. She's a tiny little yolk anyway so it's more to do with staying sober on her days off.

Any idea of the roots of it? Why it would be said? Why a yolk? When did you first hear it do you think?
