Struggling with my weight and predisposed to diabetes. I can't exercise as much as I used to although I do get out for a walk every day. I saw a programm on TV last night which mentioned this. I thought about bariatric surgery but decided against it. The reviews seem favorable.
I know someone who had this done by hypnosis and it did work for her..suddenly she only wanted healthy food in moderation....and lost loads..it did wear off after a while maybe 6 months but by then she had lost lots and had forever changed her eating habits ..save the odd treat now and then...

My cousin used it to give up drinking. She didn't have a drink problem, it was more of a temptation problem. She hasn't had a drink since. This was about 3 years ago.
Hypnosis can work. The band illusion is simply one tactic to get your subconscious to agree to a change. May be worth a try. Still needs you to not assume you can eat anything simply because you've had a post-hypnotic suggestion. It's an aid to what you're striving deliberately for, not a counter to unhelpful behaviour.
I went along for my consultation and asked the lady lots of questions, so I decided to have the first session at the same time because I had traveled to get there. I have to say that after the last four days my appetite has shrunk. I am eating what I want but not as much. I have not even thought about sweet foods, which are my downfall, I do like healthy foods anyway. Onwards and upwards
