Ibuprofen & Zantac

Hi guys, I'm taking one 400mg Ibuprofen tablet every 4-6 hours for inflamation of the leg.. and its helping, alot.. but I'm getting indigestion.. think i've heard Ibuprofen can give you it.. can I take a Zantac aswell,or any other remedy to help with the indigestion?..ta everso Mrs C x

To ease the indigestion why not take the Ibuprofen with a meal or a full glass of water.
Yes, you can take Zantac with your Ibuprofen.

I understood you needed some fat in the stomach to protect the stomach lining.
yes you should
as on the package insert
which I think is one tab twice a day

this is a commonly seen issue in the more mature patients

and the ibuprofen-rantidine combination is often used

Hopkirk....a glass of water is quite sufficient.
I have taken ibuprofen a lot over the years, for back problems, and I have been told to always take it with food and not just water.
