Well that's a no then, didn't know that. Ive been getting a 3 month prepayment certificate since iv had an op so guess i will have to pay £120 for the privilege of hrt every year.
Check what sort of HRT you get. The one my wife had was two different pills and they counted as seperate prescriptions (so at todays prices, £16.80 a month!). In this case its well worth the £104 for a pre payment certificate, which I use for blood pressure pills, hayfever stuff, and of course anything else I might need.
It would be hrt patches. As whether a choice or not, ive had a hysterectomy and need to replace oestrogen only for my bones. So is this classed as a choice, i dont know. Im sure i was told initially the patches were free on the NHS.
