I've been prescribed Vitamin B compound strong tablets (1 x four times daily). This may sound like a stupid question, but does that include Vitamin B12? Or would that be a separate thing?

Thanks.

No B12

NO.

B12 is separate.

Ah, ok. Is it possible to get B12 through my GP, or would I need a blood test?
Question Author
Just realised you can buy it over the counter... Doh.
Do you think you lack B12?
If you do, a trip to the GP for a blood test will determine your level and then the GP will decide what to do next. They may want to find out why you lack B12, if it's due to lack of absorption then it won't make any difference if you take it orally, an injection every 12 weeks would sort it.
