Tender Scalp

The top of my head feels tender to touch. Had my hair coloured a week ago but there's no itching or anything to suggest that could be a cause. Besides its just the top and Ive had it done before. Any ideas.

The first thought...out of the hat....came Shingles.
You didn't say how long you have had your symptoms, but you will have to wait and see what transpires.
