Not Peeing Enough
15 Answers
A cuppla months I think I posted I was peeing I am guessing too often but having said that - I never felt I was "emptied" fully.
I am now feeling like that again. I feel when I pee there should be more coming out and there isn't.
Is there anything I can buy to help until I get an appointment with the doctor. Thanks

Two of the days I ate a whole Belfast bap - immediately you blow up.
Then I had 3 small rounds of bread and banana.
So tomorrow will all give that bread up and get into porridge and fruit and try my best to avoid carbs tomorrow and also get up my lemon barley water. That will help me - maybe not feel so swelled up.

If you are female, have had one or more children and are over 50, it is possible that your innards are sagging due to pelvic floor weakness - one of the most extreme symptoms of which is a prolapse.
It might be advisable to speak to a doctor about this. If you are referred to a specialist you may be deliberately misdiagnosed in order to protect against surgery overload because you are not in a very serious condition - that was what happened to me when I was referred to an ENT specialist. I knew he was wrong, wasn't in a serious condition but wanted at least to know what was wrong. Two years later after self-diagnosing I went back to my GP who confirmed I was likely right, sent me back to the same ENT guy who confirmed the test results and sheepishly asked if I had always thought this was it. He offered me surgery, I declined now that I knew for sure and told him I wanted to stay as clear of the medical profession as possible, nothing personal. He was nice enough to say he fully understood my position and said I was probably very wise to take it.

Conne...I kind of have the same problem have to go wee many times and urgently..been for scans and consultant etc was given tabs but one of the side effects was insomnia and as it was interrupted sleep, have to go usually 4 times through the night, that I went to doc to begin with, just stopped taking them....a wee trick is to go and 10 mins later go again even if you don't feel the need...helps a bit...hope you are better soon xx
Sounds like a UTI... my Dr. suggested buscopan to get rid of that 'needing to wee' feeling - but having spoken to others this is a random suggestion apparently! I now take cranberry supplements every day as a preventative. But you should probably visit your GP incase you need antibiotics for a water infection. I hope you feel better soon, it's the worst feeling!

That is a scandalous and irresponsible post to produce on AB. I hope that I have misunderstood you.

Don't think it is an infection - just a "blockage of sorts" which I hope plenty of fluids will help. Ta Ra
