My 26 year old son suffers from severe night sweats, enough to make him have to change the drenched sheets in the middle of the night. He is otherwise healthy and symptom free apart from taking Omeprazole for heartburn. His GP has said there maybe some blood tests that could help to a diagnosis, but didn't hold out a lot of hope. Anyone else have any ideas......??
It is almost certainly a male hormonal problem, but rarely they may be a symptom of tuberculosis, diabetes or thyroid disease.
Blood tests will rule these out.
No big deal, it is almost certainly nothing serious..... just hormonal.
My 26 year old son also suffers from this.
He's had loads of blood tests in trying to find a diagnosis for something else. Nothing significant was found.
Sorry.
