Myth.
I read that a few days ago. It worried me a bit!
Probably partially true but one of those cases where a woman (or man) would have to eat 6lb of cheddar a day to be at risk. I avoid dairy. Its the cruellest agricultural industry and humans are the only mammal on earth who consume milk beyond weaning, and consume the milk of another animal. Its not natural.
Oestrogen in cheese kills breast cancer ? That's a breakthrough. How much do you have to spread on ? I'm willing to be the official cheese spreader ladies.
Nor is squeezing an orange to extract its juice and nor is fermenting the juice of grapes to turn them into wine. Humans do lots of things that are "not natural".
It was an American link I read. Perhaps it's different out there?
yup, more loonies over there.
Its not natural to drink the food created for other animals babies, What on earth has that got to do with squeezing an orange?
nature has many a varied ways of feeding, drinking milk from another animal is just another one of those. There are animals that do much much stranger things eg the botfly. It's no difference to a fox that eats birds eggs, or a tapeworm that lives in the stomach of mamals, they are all "natural".

Studies looking into the link between cancer and dairy products have not given clear results. There is evidence that dairy products could reduce the risk of bowel cancer, but we cannot say for sure that this is the case. There is no strong evidence linking dairy products to any other types of cancer. We need further research to find out more about the links between dairy products and cancer risk"
