Molluscum contagiosum
My nephew has been diagnosed with this skin complaint. The doctor said it will go on it's own and didn't prescribe anything. However he is complaining it itches. Is there anything anyone can recommend to soothe the itching?

eurax cream is good for itching. The other thing to do is go and search on mumsnet, loads of advice on there.

Bicarbonate of soda in the bath helps the itching of chicken pox. I can't see that it would do any harm

Go to the pharmacist and get 1% hydrocortisone cream and apply twice daily.
