My Doctor Said Everything Is Fine But Its Not

About 3 weeks ago every so often id feel like a hair in the back of my throat. didnt think anything of it. about a week after i felt like my throat was swelling and something was stuck in my throat. went the the doctor and he said my throat was infected and gave me zpak. I finished it and still have a polyp like growth beside my uvula, and feels like theres something stuck in my throat near my lymph node, and it feels like its in my ear on that side too. i have no more sickness issues, besides maybe feeling flush or trying to get a low grade fever. my doctor wont tell me anything and my insurance hasnt kicked in yet so i cant pay 300 to go see him again. im scared. i dont feel the stuck feeling when i first wake up, but by about 5 minutes its back again. I have heartburn real bad so i didnt know if maybe i injured something in that area. but the polyp like growth and this stuck in throat/ear sensation scares me. i have no one to go to. im vigorously hounding my insurance company to hurry up and approve my insurance through my job.

The polyp next to your uvula, it is just that....a polyp....no big deal.
However, the feeling of something in your throat associated with unilateral ear symptoms is of some concern.
Monitor the situation over the next 6 weeks and if there is no resolution, then see your Dr who will refer you to an ENT Surgeon.

Is it normal for a polyp to just appear like this? is mobile i can push it back towards my tonsil. doesnt hurt. just gags me if it touches my uvula.

Quite normal.....it is almost certainly what is known as a papilloma. Innocent and in no way cancerous.

Oh thank you. I just gotta figure out this feeling of something stuck in my throat. its on the right side. my tonsil is a bit swollen, but not bad. it feels like pressure in my ear at the same time. my glymph node doesnt hurt. doesnt feel fat. just feels like i need to hack up something i cant.

That would mean ive gotten an oral HPV if i have a papilloma? Ive been with the same partner for 6 years. and hes faithful so i dont know how i would have gotten that

Sorry, you asked about HPV and not HIV.
Yes, papilloma ofthe mouth can be caused by oral sex, but these are in the minority as most are caused by the virus from non sexual means,

I also felt as if I had something stuck in my throat. I saw a consultant who did a nasal endoscopy and found that everything was normal. I also suffered from acid reflux as a result of h pylori and he said that the problem was probably a muscular reaction to the reflux.
