Dexamethasone appears to be a very powerful steroid, side effects can be.

Aggression.
agitation.
anxiety.
decrease in the amount of urine.
fast, slow, pounding, or irregular heartbeat or pulse.
headache.
mental depression.
mood changes.

I think it's the tabs Baz. Keep calm & good luck with your appointment later.
I've had that occasionally when I haven't been on meds. Could you have a blocked ear?
Not really enough information for a reasonable reply.
It is extremely unlikely to be due to the steroid tablets...extremely unlikely.

With the virtual non existent of information, all I can say it seems no big deal and not life threatening.

Most likely.....but an inner ear problem does come to mind.
Not an urgent situation which could easily be monitored over the next week or so and if still worried then see your GP.

What other information would be helpful , sqad please ?
What medication are you taking?
How long have these episodes been present?
How long do they last..secs? mins?
Do you experience nausea with these incidents?
Have you perceived any hearing loss recently?

I'm taking blood pressure medications , clopidogrel , statin , Domperidone

This is the first time i have experienced this .
It lasted for about 1/2 to 1 minute

I have been experiencing nausea - hence the Domperidone

I have not experienced any hearing loss
I have experienced that sensation - but only due to high level consumption of alcohol.
Thanks Bazille, I think the posts of barry are on the mark that of BPV.

No treatment at this stage and just monitor the situation for the next week or so.
I've just read Barry's link - what a fascinating article.
