Phase 2 - weight loss - has anyone tried them?

I have just bought some phase 2 tablets (starch neutralisers) which are supposedly good for weight loss. They don't allow your body to take in too many carbs apparantly, and therefore can help if your wanting to loose weight as part of a calorie controlled diet.
Has anyone tried them? Are there any side effects?
I would be the first person to advise excercise for weight loss, not a tablet - but I excercise 4 times a week and eat healthily, I wanted to take them as a quick booster before jetting off on holiday.

Hi Miss Inquiry! I've used them and I did find them to work (in that I lost slightly more whilst dieting when I was on them as opposed to when I was wasn't).

A lot of my diet is made up of carbs, so thought I'd give them a try.

I'd give them a go, I didn't have any side-effects at all. x

Thanks twinkle, I can happily guzzle my lunch know, safe in the knowledge that I won't develope any wierd side effects.
I'm hoping it will be a bit like the placebo effect, even if it isn't doing a huge amount it will make me think more about what I am eating and hopefully make me feel more confident on the beach. x
Total waste of money. If you want to lose weight eat less.
