There's bound to be - they can do all sorts of things these days. If it's bothering you, mention it to your dentist and take it from there.
yeah,
An ex girlfriend I knew had it done. Apparently they slice your jaw bone at 45 degrees and just take an equal chunk out from both sides. She ended up with two tiny hardly noticable scars from the drainage tubes. and that was it.
Your dentist can refer you to an orthodontist who can fit you with a removable or fixed appliance which will straighten the alignment of your jaws.

I had an underbite corrected at school but i know several people who had this to correct an underbite, which is what you have
my bottom teeth use to overlap my top teeth i had a fixed brace on for 2-3 years they are fine now x

thank you for all your help
A referral by your dentist to an orthognathic team comprising of a maxillofacial surgeon and or an orthodontist may be required if it is quite marked.
Otherwise conventional non surgical oprthodontic treatment may be possible.
Yes, you can have an op (if needed). My neice has just had it done successfully - it is a big op, but quite common apparently. Ask your dentist (or doctor?) to refer you to a specialist surgeon. It can be done on the NHS.

My neice looks much better now she's had it done - no scars at all, and she's much more confident. Good luck. xxx
