Mirena Coil

Anybody any experience of having this done.? Having it for very heavy bleeding, but also having a camera examination and a scrape, but intend to do it while i am awake, no sedation whatsoever! so am feeling very apprehensive and worried and frightened.

Hi, I had a Mirena put in about 3 years ago.......I wish I'd had it done sooner! Periods almost disappeared. It did hurt a tiny bit having it put in.....definitely ask for the local anesthetic, it does help.
