Cut at the barbers

I just had my hair cut at the barbers. The guy cutting my hair used an electric trimmer on the back of my neck which he normally does, but today it hurt a little, like something was scratching.

I got home and my sister says I have a couple of very small cuts on my neck.

Is this dangerous? What is someone was cut before me, or even before them?

I washed my neck with a little diluted detol.
