Please does anyone have any suugestions for me. I am a clean person, I shower daily and spray deodorant frequenly yet I still seem to sweat a lot, especially when I'm at work. I'm a 28 year old female and although I don't think I smell it is making me very self-concious - more so when I go out for the night and I'm worrying I might have a wet patch under my arm. I have tried various sprays but nothing seems to help. It is really horrible to have to out up with it and sometimes it is so bad I feel like I have to go and change my uniform as feel soaked through.

Good, so I'm not alone! It is horrible isn't it? And not very feminine!
Go to the doctor, he may give you something called 'aluminium hydrite' in a roll on form that will help over a period of time. I could have the names wrong but the doc is the man to see, and thats what he's paid for. GL
Mitchum,available from Boots,gets a really good rating here http://www.ciao.co.uk/Mitchum_Anti_Perspirant_ Deodorant__Review_5145298
You need to go to the chemist and but a roll on called Driclor. You put it on at night but be sure to only apply it to the bit where hairs grow or you may suffer really bad itching. It is fantastic tho and after 2/3 applications you can go up to a week with no sweat!! I even went to the gym and had dry armpits!!! Honestly I couldn't live without it now I can wear any colour top even in the summer.
I agree with flora. driclor is amazing and available at your local chemist. Put it on at night and you will notice the difference the first morning. i used to get wet patches on everything i wore but now i have no trouble. worth every penny!!!!

all the best
I tried it once, and it made me itch like hell.
You also might want to try talcum powder all over that contains corn starch which absorbs moisture and try and stick with natural fiber type clothing as synthetics and nylons can cause sweating and dont allow the skin to breathe as well as cotton.
Botox - on the armpit, apparently anyway
The question is, are other people aware of the smell?if others are aware of it, its worth pursuing through your GP. if nobody else thinks you have a problem, its possible that you're focusing on your own natural body odour more than you should, in which case, you may benefit from psychological-based treatment such as counselling or cognitive behaviour therapy. best of luck x
My friend had had Botox on her armpits and she says it's the best thing she ever did. Speak to your doc, good luck. x
