white finger!!!

hi ive recently been diagnosed with having white finger in 4 of my fingers, this has been caused due to using vibrating tools when i worked in a factory, a friend has told me i should claim so i was just curious to ask if anyone on here had ever claimed for this or knew anyone that had and if so what was the outcome?

Don't know anyone personally, but there was a huge push a couple of years ago for miners to claim for compensation from the Government for both this and respiratory diseases. Maybe your Citizens Advice Bureau could help you with some more information on claiming.

there was alot of ex miners who got compensation for vibration white finger as they used alot of tools while doing their job, so its maybe worth you checking it out. also consider seeing your doctor as there is also a disease called reynards(not sure of spelling) which also causes white finger. hope this helps and good luck.
