Sugar Puff Pee

I've just been to the toilet and my pee smells of Sugar Puffs. Discussing this with other works colleagues (as you do) they have allexperienced this at some point in their life.

Therefore i was wondering if you have ever had these symptoms before and what the most probably cause of this is.

I don't wnat to alarm you but it can be a sign of diabetes as it's excess glucose being expelled.
If others in your office say they have experienced it too, maybe there are other causes, but it wouldn't hurt to take a trip to your docs to rule out diabetes.

Hi True Blue 32, I love sugar puffs though havent had any for some time and have noticed whenever I have them that my wee smells of them. You don't say whether you've actually eaten sugar puffs but I have regular medicals for work and nothing worrying has ever been detected. Maybe if it puts your mind at rest pop a sample into your practice nurse.

No, i haven't eaten any. I do like them, but i haven't had them for years.

I've had this also. I noticed it when i'd drunk a fair bit of alcohol over xmas and decided to detox and drink only water for couple of days after. Presumed it was my body expelling toxins that had built up as it stopped after couple of days even though i continued with the water and no booze.
