However i got very moody, depressed and aggitated on it. I felt very paranoid a few times before my period. I know everyone is different but this is what i found with it. Dianette helps to clear up acne but i am not sure about it helping weight wise. You could always give it a go and then change to another.

Hiya - i have been on Yasmin for the last two months. After having a 3 year break from the pill i had heard good things about it. It has improved my skin but i have been 'spotting' blood a lot. It got so bad i rang the family planning clinic! They assured me it was fine. I have had pangs of paranoia, too which i have had to control but nothing too bad....x
Hi,
I started taking it very soon after it was licenced in the uk and after years of trying different ones, it was the best one I found to suit me. My skin was much better on it and I didn't gain any weight while taking it. However, I stopped taking it last August and my periods didn't return to normal until last month, but I think it's fair to say that that is probably normal after so many years on the pill! Good luck and I hope you find one to suit you.
