Weight Problems
6 Answers
Hello =) ... I am currently trying to lose weight because I need to fit in a bathing suit in a few months. I've tried many things, such as eating low calories, exercising and many more ways. I used to go to a gym, but most of the machines just built muscle on me, which increased my wieght. I am currently 4 ft. 11 and 122 lbs. I have never weighed this much, and I am hoping to lose weight and be around 90-100 lbs. PLEASE HELP ME!

Hi,
Hope what ever you try works for you.
this is only a tip. Ensure that you eat a healthy breakfast, maybe a bowl of speacial K a smoothie or a peice of fruit. Then have a salad for lunch and then a healthy dinner like a JP or something. Exercise wise. Try cycling for 30/40 minutes per day.this burns over 200 cal If possible try to go on a running machine, doing the gradiant levels or even just a power walk and then maybe finish it of with some sit ups.this will work your tummy musles but the running machine will also burn the calories. there are a few good DVD workouts out there at the moment. how about getting one of those and doing it before dinner?i have the zoe luckers little black dress workout, i love it, the boxercise is fab and then there is a yoga part at the end to winde down. i would imagine that the swopping full fat drinks for low fat has been heard and done before. try those though they have worked for me in the past.

What are some of you trying to do! Do not start any fad diets I can't tell you how rubbish they are and once you come off them you will not keep the weight off. Start right now by writing down exactly what goes into your mouth food and drink wise only of course!! Every single night sit down and read through what you have eaten/drank in the day and you will be suprised. Cut out all the ready meals/processed foods and keep going add in healthier options such as a nice salad or stir fry. You don't need the gym start with a good walk EVERY DAY for a least a mile. Keep this going until you can run the mile quite easily. Make sure you warm up properly and stretch well after the run/walk. Increase this steadily every week even if it is only 100 yards by then end of the month you will be suprised with the results. NEVER DIET just sort out your eating habits
lounurse, while i agree with what you describe a 'salad or stir fry' is hardly a diet plan.
Diet refers to the types of food one generally eats.
Dr Atkins supply cook books etc that are easy to use and allow one to change their diet for the better. As do many other diet plans.
xo_coolio_x3 putting on weight due to an increase in muscle mass is a good thing. I find fitness an attractive attribute. Worry about you percentage bodyfat not your weight.
