Can anyone tell me how long I should leave it in between eating food and then going to the gym ? for example is it better for me to eat a meal (pasta) or some kind of energy food an hour before the gym or eat after I come back. What is the best way or does it even matter? I want to get the most out of going to the gym . I know you shouldn't eat just before going swimming but does this apply to all exercise?
They say that you should not do exercise straight after a meal, you should wait roughly 30 minutes to an hour.
If you have something light before hand then you wont feel as sluggish and then maybe have a bigger meal after the gym!
