I presume that you are referring to the 'ileum'. If so, then the ileum is the lowest of the three portions of the small intestine. It runs from the jejunum to the ileocaecal valve.

Are you sure you have the correct spelling?. When I was training, a tutor used to pronounce the word episeleum. When because he was foreign, it should have been epithelium. I'm wondering if you mean ileal
