Red, The Prophet is right. Citalopram, like all SSRi's are not to be taken lightly. Your Gp should have increased your dose by increments of 10mg. This could have been done by him prescribing you 20mg but advising you to halve that dose so you would then be on 30mg. Pins and needles are just one of many side effect's but one of the more uncommon ones. Go back to your doc, tell him about the pins and needles and tell him you want to decrease by 10mg slowly. Remember this is your life, not his/hers. Try to get back down to 30mg Red. If you need any help, mail me. [email protected] uk. I moderate for a drugs support group. x
thank u also fran !!! appreciated , i was on 20 , and he increased it to 40 !!! there was no talk of increasing to 30 !!!\

I was a victim of Seroxat/Paxil manufatured by Glaxo Smith Kline. It has terrible side effects and coming off it is akin to coming off Heroine but victims of Seroxat and other SSRI's dont get Methadone to ease the horrific withdrawal symptoms! It took me 4 years to be Seroxat free and GSK said it was'nt addictive! Thousand's are suffering the side effects of SSRI's world wide The Prophet. There's more cons than pro's unfortunately.
