My 4 year old has just had his first MMR shot today(delayed as he's already had measles and Rubella).
The nurse wants him to return in a months time for the booster - surely this is too soon after the initial dose?

Normally, they have the first one between 12 and 18 months. The second at 4-5 years.

Im sure the nurse wouldnt ask you to come back so soon if it was a problem. But, if you really are worried about it, ask the nurse, your gp, or your health visitor if this is ok.
