I've had 2 blood tests, the second came back saying I've got thick blood, I asked the doctor but he says he'll have contact them as he's not heard of this before. Somebody out there got any clues?

He'll need to do an ANTI-PHOSPHOLIPID test. if you are diagnosed with it, the normal treatment is to thin the blood, either with anti-coagulant drugs, or, aspirin, depending on the severity. i have this, and take an aspirin a day. since being diagnosed and taking the aspirin, my migraines have gone, my circulation is better and I feel terrific - I knew i wasn't feeling right before, but i didn't realise just how pants I actually felt!
There's lots of information about Hughes syndrome on the internet - but GP's seem not to know anything about it. I suggest a Google.....then pring the pages out and take them to your GP. you'll know more than he did!
