got a stinkin cold anyone got any remedies that work

Hang on just sneezed 12 times in a row, my nose is like rudolfs and my head is banging!!, getting fed up of taking parrotseathemall, anyone abers gotta any suggestions how to shift this buggar!!!

Hot bath ,then to bed with hot milk and large whiskey in it sweat the cold out .

I remember watching something on tv years ago, where they were testing cold remedies. At the end of the programme the presenter asked the 'expert' how long a cold would last when taking one of the remedies and he said 2 weeks. When asked how long a cold would last if you didn't take any remedies, he said a fortnight!
