Not sure how to phrase this *embarrasing*

My ex has just called me and told me that he thinks he has chlamydia, I told him that I was tested just before the birth of our daughter x years ago, he told me that these tests are often wrong or I could not have had it and he did and he's re-infected me. Does anyone know anything about this disease as I know next to nothing. I am calling my GP tomorrow for a test anyway but I would like some unbiased advice.
