Flucloxacillin - antibiotics

My mother had a mastectomy about 6 weeks ago. She got a slight infection in the scar and is therfore taking flucloxacillin for a week. Trouble is it is making her sleepy and feeling slightly sick - is this normal? The only other medication she is on is tamoxifen.

oh dear yes, I don't know one single person who's taken it who hasn't felt mildy to dreadfully unwell after a short while.
Tell your mother to have a word with her doctor/nurse about it.

I had to take it recently because of a poisonous thumb that was tracking up my arm.I didn`t have any side effects.
