I keep getting really painful headaches, they are quite debilitating and sometimes even blur my eyesight. Some mornings I have been woken up early by the pain.
The strange thing is that I have around 15 minutes of this sheer pain and then the pain goes in a split second, the relief is not gradual I just seem to snap out of it.
But also recetly when I have had one of these headaches as soon as I take a pain killer the headache disappears, not because of the painkilllers as these are usually only just on the way down, but straight away, This has happened on three occassions within the last week.
Not sure its a migraine. These can be debilitating and do not go in a second. My migraines mean that I can can't stand noise or light and are only got rid of by strong painkillers.
Please see your doctor and get checked out to be on the safe side.
You might have a sinus infection & the pain goes when the pressure in your sinuses alters...sometimes just a warm/cold drink can do this or standing up when you first get out of bed. Do get it checked out though.
I and my husband had something similar (but no blurred vision) a couple of weeks ago and was beginning to worry, when I heard of others having similar symptoms. I came to the conclusion that it was a virus as it stopped quite suddenly - I called it 'the three week headache'! But still, if worried, go to the doctor. If it is a virus he/she will know all about it from other patients.
