Hello. My housemate has Polycistic Ovaries which means her menstrual cycle is completely irregular. Mine used to be always 28 days exactly, but since living with her, mine has become irregular too. Does anyone know if her irreguarity would affect mine? Or is it just coincidence? Thanks.

It does seem to happen when a group of women live together. I used to live with my two daughters and my two nieces moved in with us for a while,my daughters and I had similar cycles to start with and before long my nieces cycles pretty much matched ours.
It has been said that when a group of women live together that their periods become smiliar, or their periods arrive earlier than normal.
