Noisy food

I don't think this has ever been posted before, but what do you think about CRISPS and APPLES being eaten in the workplace ? Isn't it enough that morons can't find the time to take a walk in the fresh air rather than sit gazing at a computer screen rustling paper and going CRUNCH, munch munch then gazing around the room ? When someone around me opens a bag of CRISPS - rustle rustle crunch munch munch - I sod off for 10 minutes and look at the horizon from upstairs.

IF YOU WANT TO EAT CRISPS KINDLY SOD OFF SOMEWHERE PRIVATE AND STOP ASSAULTING MY EARS WITH YOUR INFERNAL INFURIATING CRUNCH MUNCH.

actually the thing that irritates me is the noise made by swallowing (gulpy noise) , the breathing whilst eating and the little noises (especially when they are enjoying it) whilst eating.

I also hate noisy burpers who dont say pardon me/excuse me :D

A guy where I work is always eating juicy apples and slurping as well as crunching. Sometimes we hear him doing a funny humming when he eats. I'm not talking about humming a tune but humming when chewing. Gets right on my t!ts!

I used to work with a woman who would chew yogurt noisily! Why would anyone need to chew yogurt?????x

They purposely do this to rid the putrid aroma of decayed sprouts.

I now have my own office but when I worked in an open plan design office, this sort of behaviour was quite infuriating. Not just apples and crisps of course.... what really got to me was the technician who was on a raw carrot and apple diet.... slice, slice, slice, munch, munch, munch every lunchtime. Then he would pile all the peelings into a plastic bag, tie it up and throw it into the bin. I kept trying to convince him to take it home and put the stuff in his compost bin but nope, he refused to have one of them in case - wait for it - it attracted mice and rats who were NOISY eaters..... He never did understand why I giggled every time he got his carrots out....

It's when folk eat slapping their lips together that annoys me. Or worse when they chat whilst eating and spray their food all over the place........YUCK !

I find it very irritating when folks pop their chewing gum. It can be very annoying especially on the bus.

how about those big plastic cups filled with coke, slurping on a straw even when there is non left, then they have a handful of peanut m&ms and sit there with their mouths contorting, all I can here is furious breathing through the nose (whistly) and gnashing of teeth

We had a meeting last year to which the chairman brought massive bags of communal CRISPS. I tried to cope, but couldn't, there were 12 people going CRUNCH MUNCH and all other variations thereof, and I couldn't take it anymore, so eventually I stood up and left the room with dignity and went home early. We had another meeting just today at which APPLES were handed out and 3 people availed themselves of the opportunity to go CRUNCH CRUNCH. I went home an hour early, and there must be a lesson here.
