Ive had this numb pain at the bottom of my left calf for the past 5 days now. It feels like cramp but cramp would've eased off by now. Its not tender to the touch and believe it or not its more painfull when im sitting down or resting and not so painfull when im walking or up on my feet. My job does involve sitting down a lot so I can't be on my feet all the time. The pain seems to becoming from the inside of the calf rather than on it.. If anyone has any ideas of what it could be I would be very gratefull TIA
Could be anything from a trapped nerve to a pulled muscle but you MUST get it checked out - just in case. I had a suspected blood clot years ago and it really isn't worth the risk. Thankfully, after a scan on my leg at the hospital the doctors decided it was a torn ligament - but you can never be too careful. Better safe than sorry - hope you get well soon x
