I signed up for a weeks free on line trial with WW's. If you didn't want to be a member after the week, you cancel your subscritption and that should be that. I did this and they have still taken 50 from my bank account. I have phoned them and had all the apologies etc but they have told me i have to wait 10 days to get my money back that they took illegally as i had stuck to my side of the terms and conditions. I am really annoyed and still waiting for a call back from their legal team.

This happened to anyone else? Am i being unreasoanle to think this is really out of order? If you get a refund to your card in a store, it doesn't take 10 days to get back to your account!! I am mad!!

never give your card details to any fitness system - they bleed you dry.
Under the Direct Debit Indemnity Guarantee you can demand that your Bank repays the money immediately.
I realise that it is now over the 10 days so you should already have the money back but you may need this information some time in the future.
