YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE
you have posted your question to ask for hep that is a massive step
I have too been close to suicide a few times since last year and I didn't tell anyone
Have you had any counseling at all?
Talking can be very good as you can share and realise you are not alone
there is help out there for you and it might be you just need some timeout before you decide what to do next
Lots of nice people on here who will listen and try to help xx
That is a terrible amount to go through, how awful! You must get help for your depression and greivances. Get down to the doctor and tell them how they are feeling, they will refer you to a counsellor at the very least. They are there to help you, not judge you.
Please get yourself some help.
Take Care

i remember my mother in law saying to me to get a grip, to pull myself together when i told her that i was going to take antidepressants. i took them without her knowing and they helped me to get through the worst. she claimed that as there werent any drugs around in her day that people had to take charge of their lives and pick themselves up on their own, yeah, and how many topped themselves i wonder?>?>!
You need to talk face to face with someone who will listen and help you try to make sense of it all Katie. Life has not been kind to you so far and I hope things will turn around for you soon and make you realise that its not YOU who is to blame for things that have happened to those near to you and which you had no control over. Think how YOUR family would feel if you left them in such a way.You know you need help,so please be brave and seek it and one day I'm sure, you will be glad you decided that life was for living afterall. Good luck.
How are you feeling today ? x

Guys. Thanks so very much for all of your support. I am a bit better these last few days, I went to my GP, who offered me an immediate CPN appointment, dietician (as I have been really suffering since Bariatric Surgery and losing 10 stones) and an alcohol counsellor (as I was psychologically relying on alcohol as a crutch).

I feel like I am getting somewhere. Today has been a majorly stressful day with something BIG on but I have managed to do it without alcohol wey hey ! I cleaned my fridge to release the anger instead and I have put myself in for The Run for Life with my little girl as a way to exercise and pass away weekends training rather than wallowing in pity and drinking.

Thank you to EVERYONE. I THOROUGHLY APPRECIATED YOUR HELP and if EVER I can EVER help anyone else, then I will.

Thank you again.

Katie.
