Do you like your job?

I used to feel like this when I had a job I hated, even the thought of it now makes me feel sick.
Saturday and Sunday mornings seem to be like that.

I always seem to get a dodgy prawn the night before!

I used to get that a lot, in the mornings and at night, never really found out why tho 2 years of tests. Eventually it was blamed on IBS.
It could be that your blood sugar levels are low, do you take sugar in your tea or coffee in the morning?
im inclined to think blood sugar as well. do you have breakfast before work?

My mum has type 2 diabetes and wee sis has hypoglycemia, shouldnt the doc have checked that?

possibly i'll have water or squash in the morning but i can never eat cos i feel sick!
Question Author
do you still get it weeal?

i was tested for diabetes and ok
Eat something, anything as soon as you get up. A banana, toast or cereal would be good, or even a biscuit.

It will stop your nausea straight away.
I do still get it often, not every day, but like you I cant face eating anything. Its only when I arrive at work I notice that Im starving. Once Ive been out in the fresh air I start to feel hungry.
try eating dry toast or rich tea biscuits, that helped with pregnancy sickness so might help you too
You know what...I think this thread mightve solved a huge problem for me. I get panic attacks getting on the train in the morning and its cos I feel sick and am worried that I will be sick, so I dont eat anything beforehand.
Maybe Im causing a viscious circle by not eating in the first place? I am normally not too bad coming home on the train but by that time Ive already eaten. Unless the train is crowded of course in which case I cant even get on it, or have to get off if it gets busier along the line.
What a wreck I am lol
Yep, definitely, weeal.

Do you know this is the cause of teenagers' weekend bad moods? They lie in bed until lunch time (or later), nothing to eat or drink since the night before and get up with low blood sugar.

thank you peeps
there you go mccfluff - rich tea biscuit or toast should help us out hon, lets try it and see

just an update, i still couldn't face eating this morning but i had a glass of milk and no queasyness! woohoooooooo, how did you get on weeal?
Just a suggestion - try a smoothie. I just whizz up half a banana, splash of milk, plop of youhurt and any strawberries or raspberries/blueberries in the fridge and voila breakfast in a glass!!

Oh and add a squeeze of honey if you have a sweet tooth!
I can't drink fresh milk in the morning, anytime before say 10am and I just want to hurl - its really weird!
