i work outside all summer and this year i have had small patches of skin on m chest that have not sunburnt. didn't bother me as it was only a couple 2p size patches but now its starting to spread across my body. they don't itch and they don't grow hair.
any advice as to what this could be would be very much appreciated. thanks

rub some Vaseline on it and see what happens. otherwise speak to your chemist about it, i'm sure he'll recommend something helpful.
anything thats silent and starts spreading is more then enough reason to go and check the doctor! better to have peace of mind and be safe then ignore it and find its something serious!
Could be vitiligo if you look like you've lost skin pigmentation, but you really need to see your G.P. to get a proper diagnosis.
i agree with campbell (thats my surname 2 lol) king it does sound like vitiligo and if it is theres nothing you can do to get rid of it maybe try to disguise it with some false tan xxxxx
It could be Tinea Versicolor a common fungal skin infection, which can be easily treated with Selsun Blue shampoo. Perhaps a visit to the doctor would be wise before it spreads further.
