I've lost inches, but how much would it weigh?

I've started to lose weight sensibly, but didn't weigh myself at first, using measurements instead. I've lost 2" from the hips and 1" from my waist in about 2 weeks. I'm 5'5" and weighed myself today (flippin shock) and was bang on 13 stone. Now I'm wondering what I was at the start of the new eating regime. Any ideas?

You've lost around 7-10lbs.
I agree with Ethel there. Well done, by the way. It's sensible to go for much less per week though - 2-3lbs. The faster you lose it, the chances are that you'll put it back on again. Let your body get used to a gradual change - and best of luck.

Super fast answers - thank you very much!

I'm pleasantly surprised as I thought I would be losing 1 to 2lbs per week. It just shows what cutting out white wine and salt n vinegar crisps can do. It has certainly motivated me to exercise more and be careful with the calorie intake.
Yes, you've done well.

Don't get disheartened - you always lose more in the first week or two, and it should settle down at around 2lb per wee.

May not sound much, but it is still 108lbs in a year.

Not suggesting you have 108lbs to lose, by the way. :)
